The story of the Taniwha in Porirua Harbour

 Kia ora everyone,

The week we have been learning and writing about The story of the Taniwha in Porirua Harbour. This story is about a Taniwha called Awarua wanting to learn how to fly; and his friend Rereroa the albatross, helped Awarua to fly. And we had to rewrite this story in our own words. This piece took two school days, and it was kinda hard to think of how I would write and publish this story. We also had to publish this story in a creative way; and I just went for a simple look, and its what they call "Creative".

Here is the finished writing

  1. Kia ora Phoebe,

Wow! This is fantastic writing, and a fantastic picture to go with it. It is all very creative.

What do you think you would do if you saw a taniwha?
